Eduard Brunner Composition Prize

Every year, a composition prize worth 5000 Swiss francs is awarded to one of our students as part of an internal sonic space basel competition.

Cooperation with external universities

We cooperate annually with an external university within the framework of a joint project and associated performances. In the academic year 2022/23, this was a cooperation with the Universität der Künste Berlin and the Hochschule Hanns Eisler Berlin. In the academic year 2023/2024 there will be a cooperation with Harvard University Cambridge/Massachusetts.

Tzlil Meudcan Music Festival

We cooperate with the Tzlil Meudcan Music Festival in Tel Aviv. Within this framework, our contemporary performance students give an annual concert as part of the Tzlil Meudcan International Music Festival, which is directed by our lecturer Yaron Deutsch.
