This unique, new CAS certificate course “Curating Contemporary Music” is dedicated to professionalizing the curatorial practice of musicians, dramaturges, music educators, musicologists, producers, music journalists etc. Internationally-renowned curators impart their knowledge and practical experience in the context of currently relevant social issues and discourses. The course also includes practice-oriented curatorial work on selected projects from the Festival ZeitRäume Basel - Biennale for New Music and Architecture (September 2021).
Very good knowledge of the contemporary music scene is a prerequisite for participation.
